
Tom joined BA Group in 2008 after completing his Masters of Science in Engineering at Queen’s University, with research focused on the assessment and improvement of instructional aspects of integrating design projects into engineer training.
Since joining the firm, Tom has completed a number of transportation planning assignments as well as worked extensively in functional site and right-of-way design with clients such as SmartCentres!, Durham College, and Metrolinx, as well as having worked on the new Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto.
Tom is keenly interested in sustainable transportation planning and is actively involved in BA Group’s bicycle and pedestrian practice. He is member of the PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario), the ITE (Institute of Transportation Engineers) and the APBP (Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals).
